SilentBuddy is a bedside training device designed to help dogs understand morning routines. During the quiet period, it uses calm, consistent audio cues to discourage early barking before it becomes a habit.
At wake-up time, a sunrise-style light and gentle melody clearly signal when the day begins, helping reduce early-morning barking and disruption.

At your chosen wake-up time, a soft sunrise-style light gradually illuminates and a gentle melody plays, signalling that it’s time to start the day.

Dogs learn to associate the light and melody with morning, helping them settle until those cues appear.

Designed to adapt to your dog
Every element of SilentBuddy has adjustable sensitivity, allowing you to tailor cues to suit your dog and home environment. Settings can be fine-tuned so signals remain effective without being overwhelming.
SilentBuddy also includes a puppy-safe mode, which reduces or mutes night-time audio cues for young dogs or dogs with more sensitive hearing.
Optional collar support
SilentBuddy also includes an optional collar tag that delivers gentle vibration patterns. This can be used on its own or alongside other cues, making the system adaptable for sensory-impaired dogs, different household needs, or individual training preferences.
Why I created SilentBuddy
I’m Lucy, a founder, mum, and dog owner. Like many families, our mornings were being dictated by early barking, long before anyone was ready to be awake.
I tried training methods, alarms, and existing products, but nothing felt simple, effective, or kind enough. Most solutions were either harsh, over-engineered, or relied on apps and constant input.
SilentBuddy was born from wanting a calmer way, something that worked with a dog’s natural learning, not against it.
I’m currently developing SilentBuddy in the UK, focusing on simplicity, safety, and real-world routines.
